Next, grab LIMES. This citrus fruit is high in Vitamin C and antioxidants. Beyond making your skin glow, the Vit C levels may help to prevent or shorten colds and the flu. It also has anti-inflammatory properties and lowers blood sugar levels (Source: Medical News Today).
Then, pull out your THYME. The herb is packed with Vitamin C, Vitamin A, cooper, iron, fiber and manganese. Known for its antiviral and antifungal properties, this plant is particularly sought out as a natural cough remedy, especially in the form of an essential oil (Source: Healthline). When added to water, it may help to fight against respiratory issues.
Follow the steps below!
- Wash your limes and rinse your thyme.
- Slice your limes into thin slices.
- Place limes and thyme into a mason jar or pitcher. You should add enough to fill 30 - 50% of the container.

- Place the container in the refrigerator and let it sit for at least 4 hours. For maximum flavor, leave it overnight.
